and his one good eye seems to zone out for a good few minutes. staring, focusing on nothing. probably those five or so minutes feel like an eternity before he blinks, staring at Phoenix. If he's got his empath feelers out, there's another spike of Concern.
but! he finally folds it, handing it back to him.]
So good news! Technically no one dies in this vision. You want all the details?
Okay, well. . .[scratches his head. Phoenixes life(ves) is so strange]
Well ya just went to some house--which congrats, this version of the guy knows how to drive a car! So he goes down to a basement with some kinda magic circle, and guess who's there? That Agatha bitch!
Except she's a ghost now for some reason. Anyway she starts yappin' and you--he, he's so done. He's like NAH. And takes out this amulet thing and starts chanting, trying to banish her soul to hell for good or something. That gets her all fussed up and tryin' to call him a hypocrite since he claims to hate killin' witches. But she's already dead, so it don't count! Gotta say, I agree.
Anyway, the bitch is stubborn and before he can finish the chant, she somehow manages to knock the amulet away. He's like damn bitch why won't you LEAVE? And I guess she's got some regrets about someone named Nicholas. That gets him to shut up real quick aaaand. Well, kinda pulls a you.
Switches to bein' all sympathetic and tellin' her this Nick guy would forgive her, and that gets her all soft. Personally I think he shoulda kept trying to send her to hell, but eh.
Anyway they talk some more and he like, does some magic that marks a memorial for some deceased witches I think. Then a glowing door opens up, and he and the bitch are gonna team up and try to learn something.
. . .
She also called him Billy. That's a different name. But maybe a nickname?
[ at least he listens!!! the nice thing about goose is he knows he won't like......... make it out nice but god damn is his own life confusing??? but he listens to the whole thing without interrupting and breathes out. swallows hard at hearing 'billy' said aloud. ]
... It's technically a nickname. But him there's the difference. I have two names because he's two people - kind of.
[ closes his eyes- ]
Something must have happened why would Agatha be dead when he - He -
[doesn't zone out nearly as long in this one as his brain can wrap his head around BIG FIGHT BADASS though he still has to let it settle as an outside perspective.]
[then he snorts]
Damn. She's a bigger bitch than I thought!
That you seemed pretty cool though. So after that sacrifice, she shouldn't be dead, eh?
[ He's not sure about the first part - if only because it didn't feel like it. It felt pointed - like it was a him thing. He doesn't say that. Hearing his name aloud again is enough to distract him with a breath. ]
There's these moments when she's nice... When she seems protective of him. That he's felt it - just a little - but it's not often and she's very good at lying and manipulation.
Well if you're anything alike, it's no wonder ya get along with folks like me. You put way too much faith in folks--only difference is I ain't lyin', and you know it's the truth.
[ makes a face like he thinks that's an inaccurate assessment about him. but the reality is goose came in when he really started trying to be himself - so maybe that's the only him goose knows. ]
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
. . .?
Ain't ever seen a vision like that. Gimme.
[gestures for it through the opening.]
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
[ breathes out. ]
[ pushes the paper into his hand. ]

Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
Technically, is usually a part of it. [ swallows ] I do want to know. I think the rules of the paper are I'm not allowed to leave until you do.

Nicholas is her dead son. I think.
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
And no idea. She was already a ghost when he went down there, just hanging out.
You okay?
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
[ looks at his hands and then just.... okay sure rolls a 19 to see if he just quickly writes something down on one of the slips he brought. ]
[ oasses that one through the slot wordlessly as explanation. sorry goose you live in memory theater fhdfhdf ]

Let's see what ya got.
[he rather it be him than phoenix overwhelming himself!!! doop doop sure lets put this vision all in his empty head]

Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
[ winces a little. ]
No. It should be him. She wouldn't have let them both go.
But I'm not even sure when that one takes place or whatever you've seen - I thought I understood the timeline but maybe I don't?
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
Either way, I haven't seen anything yet that warrants Billy Boy having so much faith in her.
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE

Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
Maybe I put just the right amount of faith in people. Everyone is capable of good and I can see that.
She has some.
So do you.
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
But given that other one I saw, you probably wore her down with that kinda thinking. You should see it for yourself.
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
[ it's lightly said, almost a joke - but he holds his hand out for the paper. ]
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
[hands it over thru the window]
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
[ shakes his head and opens the paper instead. ]
[ ... ]
[ closes his hand on the paper. ]
Coven two. I don't get it.
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
I know covens are fated. Some part of them is like destiny -[ another glance at his hand ]- like the whole dying thing, I guess.
But he should know better than to trust her and it seems like. [ a frown. ] He's just accepted that he'll be just as bad as she is? I don't know.
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
[trying to squash the faint thought of bro i think your other self might be a lil stupid,]
[BUT SHRUGS]
Well.
I'm always tellin' you to trust yer gut, yeah?
Maybe that's what he's doing.
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
[ :/ ]
So the gut being "wow I'm a murderer and a bad person".
Re: EARLY ON THE NIGHT OF REMINISCENCE
I don't think that's the gut feeling he was goin' with, since he immediately started sympathizing and left a memorial and shit.
More like he's the type that doesn't give second chances--he gives infinite ones.
