[doesn't address that, but the smile that crosses his face says it all, really]

I'm still deciding on the best course of action.

Thanks. But compared to you, couldn't that be said about anybody?

Touché. And I'm sure they all went straight home and are now acting as normal as can be, which is a whole different level of insanity, if you think about it.

Although to be fair, none of them are in prison. Did anybody ever tell you what you did?

Honestly, I've met tigers less feral than you.

[says it like a compliment, though]

I'll introduce you sometime.

Hell, maybe I can talk my way into performing a show in here. Vision-me performs shows for prisoners, so I don't see why I couldn't.

Nah. Elaborate revenge plot.

I haven't pieced everything together yet, but he had some kind of reason to want revenge against the warden. He'd already done something to get the guy who helped kill his dad arrested, and he used his access to the prison to sneak him in a weapon, so the two problems could take care of each other.

Does it matter how he feels? He isn't me.

The guards aren't the problem. Everyone around me thinks I'm playing a character, anyway. But you amnesiacs take those things too seriously...

[sighs]

At any rate, vision-me is... inspirational. He doesn't have any blessings, connections, or allies. In fact, he's surrounded by enemies, to the point where I suspect most people in his situation would just lay down and die. But with nothing more than wits and determination, he became a force of reckoning. One by one, everyone who had ever crossed him got what was coming to them.

I don't think he's real in a literal sense, but it's clear that he's there to show me the kind of person I need to be. Ruthless. Self-reliant. Willing to get my hands dirty.

Nothing. But these things take time and planning. I'm still in that phase at this point.

Well. I am going to try something fun soon. But that's my little secret.
